worst transformer everDec 27, 2010

We got one of these at target a few months before Christmas for our 5 year old. He couldn't get it to transform back to the car and nether could I (I wound up breaking it trying). We exchanged it for a different one which was less problematic. I swore I would never buy them another transformer again. Right before Christmas hasbro direct ran this one 80% off and several others at 75-80% off as a Christmas promo. I couldn't resist the price and got about a dozen transformers, all deluxe and voyager class and some other toys for 50$.
The quality of engineering seems to very greatly on these. My 5 year old can transform all of them himself except for this one. I can barely get this one back into the car. When it is the car, the slightest pressure in the wrong spot makes it come apart (untouched, it looks like its just barely holding together). Some areas are very thin and it takes a lot of pressure to get it to convert (even when following the direction).
Some transformers are better designed and some are worse, but this one is by far the worst. I am aware that there are different skill levels but they very greatly within the same skill level. Some of the higher skill level ones are not much problem at all. Read the reviews as some transformers are decent enough toys and some like this one are defiantly not. Unfortunately the skill level isn't much help when deciding which to buy.
