Fascinating, Detailed, Very UniqueJun 01, 2010

This is a very interesting Barbie doll. Her hair in front is both thickly straightened in front (as with mud decoration) and then loose in back. She wears a canvas type of top and then a loin cloth of woven material (which adds to the quality of this doll that it isn't just a painted on pattern on the fabric). The loincloth flap is held in place by an intricate weaving of leather like material. She has very detailed tattoos on her arms and legs and real feathers in her head dress. Finishing the doll are 3 strands of different types of beads.
Note that her legs don't bend - she's a beautiful display but not a play doll. But in all, beautiful quality and originality for the price. Highly recommended.

I bought this Barbie for a Barbie collector, who was very happy with the item. It has to be said, the picture does not do the Barbie justice. It is so amazing and intricately-designed when you see it in person. It has amazing realistic fabric choices and an amazing design. It really is a beautiful Barbie finessed to the tiniest details - even the tattoos look real. Absolutely amazing.

This doll is a beautiful depiction of an Amazonian Warrior Princess! I purchased this gift for my mother's ever expanding collection of Barbies from Around the World. This was a very unexpected addition to her collection and she absolutely adores the fierceness of the costuming and the expression projected from it.
